    Late November to April for calm crossings. May to October runs wetter, quieter and cheaper.
    Transfer
    Speedboat 25–55 min, or seaplane 35–50 min, daylight hours only.
    Entry
    Passport valid for the stay, return ticket, resort confirmation, and the traveller declaration filed within 96 hours of arrival.

    Season
    October to April for outdoor days. June to September moves life indoors and rates drop.
    Transfer
    Private car 20–45 min from Dubai or Abu Dhabi airport, longer in peak traffic.
    Entry
    Passport with six months validity, visa route checked per passport, hotel address and onward ticket on hand.

Visa and transfer checklist

Two lists to clear before tickets are issued: what destination authorities need from you, and what our private transfer team commits to on arrival. Compare the ledgers first, then work down these rows.

Entry and visa timing

D-45
Passport valid six months past the return date, with two blank pages. Send us a scan so we can check spelling against the booking.
D-30
Maldives entry is granted on arrival with a confirmed resort booking and a return ticket; the traveller declaration is filed within 96 hours of landing. UAE travel requires a pre-arranged e-visa filed through a licensed sponsor.
D-10
Resort vouchers, flight numbers, and the traveller declaration receipt land in one folder. Visa and entry fees sit outside the package price and are listed as excluded on the quote.
D-2
Travel insurance certificate with medical cover, printed and stored offline. Entry rules can change at short notice, so we re-check them the day before departure.

Private transfer standards

Vehicle
Air-conditioned sedan or van by party size, with the class named on the voucher. No shared shuttles on either destination.
Meet
Driver waits at the arrivals exit with a name board, holding 60 minutes past landing on international flights, later on request.
Luggage
Two checked cases and two cabin bags per sedan; oversized or extra pieces are declared at booking so the right vehicle is sent.
Time
Male airport to resort by speedboat or seaplane, 45 to 90 minutes depending on the atoll. Dubai or Abu Dhabi airport to hotel, 25 to 70 minutes.
